The camp day starts at 9am, although early drop off starts as early as 8:00am for working parents. The camp will go until 4pm. Families can pick up anytime between 4 and 4:30pm. If your family needs after-care post 4:30pm, you can sign up for our after-care program that runs until 6pm.

Not a problem! You can let the camp directors know at the desk that morning and we'll make sure your camper is back at the school ready for pickup.

Our campers range from 3.5 up to 13 years old. The campers are broken up into groups based on the grade they are entering. For example, the 5-year-olds, named 'Gummies', will spend the day with others their age, and not be with the 12-year-olds, which we call the 'Blue Jays'.

You can email us at or call our office at (212)634-7262.

We do not allow parents to be on site throughout the camp day. Campers get distracted easily and we want to ensure they're getting the most out of their experience with us! Camp Directors will keep you updated on the week's schedule and any special theme days your children can participate in.

Our camp is an active day! Campers should wear sneakers that they can be outside in and clothes that they can play games in. Younger campers are encouraged to bring an extra set of clothes to camp to leave for the summer.

The essentials: Lunch, Snack, Sunscreen, Bugspray, and a Water Bottle. Next up: Change of clothes, swimsuit, KING t-shirt for trip days.

Each campsite has a Health Director. In addition, a majority of our staff is First Aid, AED, and CPR certified. We also have an RN on call during camp in case we need to consult further. We'll also be in touch with families immediately in case there is a medical condition we need to address.

Please bring the Epi-pen with you to camp, clearly labeling it. Speak to the camp directors about the specific allergies so that we are able to educate their specific counselors. In the case of an emergency, our team would assist with the Epi-pen.

Families are responsible for bringing snack and lunch each day! We are a nut-free camp (due to many campers having peanut allergies) so please do not bring any nut sandwiches! Soy nut butter is okay. All lunches are required to be refrigerated each day

In order to enroll, you'll need to fill out our registration form on the website, putting down the deposit for camp. Leading up to camp, we'll also ask you to complete some paperwork (trip consent, pick up the waiver, and health form) to make sure that your camper is ready to go for the summer!

We'll begin sending updated camp balances after you register. We ask that families take care of the balance before coming to camp on the first day. For families that need flexibility to pay week to week, please reach out to us directly to set up a payment plan.

If you register for camp and would like to cancel certain weeks, you can do so before June 15th. This will be a full refund, minus the $100 deposit per week registered for. There will be no refunds or credits granted after June 15th.

Yes, we do! If the campers are not going into the same grade, we can try to accommodate friend requests, but can’t guarantee it. This is determined based on the sizes of the groups and group dynamics.

Absolutely - we want the thought of summer camp to be as enjoyable for you as it is for your child(ren). You can add, remove or change weeks directly through the Ultracamp portal once you've registered. If you need assistance, feel free to contact us at or 212-634-7262 and we'll be happy to help!

We host several open houses during the months leading up to camp – they are scheduled once a month per camp location. These are fairly informal meetings where Camp Directors and administrators lead open question forums and offer campsite tours. When camp gets closer, our staff goes over more of the procedural information with details about day-to-day operations.

Included in the price of camp is 1 day of open swim per week for kids going into 1st grade and up. Campers are required to take a swim test during their first week of camp. This swim test includes: swimming 15 yards (head above water), tread water for 30 seconds, float on back for 20 seconds. If they pass, they can attend open swim. If not, they will not be able to go to open swim moving forward. Alternatively, these campers stay at camp, and do activities as they would during a normal day.

For any age, any level, but there's limited space! For an additional fee, campers receive one 45-minute small group lesson per week at a private pool. Groups are separated by age, with up to 6 people in a group. Lessons will be instructed by swim instructors and will be supervised by our Aquatics Director
