King Hoops partnered with The Gazelle Group to bring our teams to Madison Square Garden for the 2K Classic College basketball series. Our boys were able to catch great match-ups with Michigan vs Marquette and SMU vs Pittsburgh. The experience for our team to be able to see college level athletes play and compete was both exciting and inspirational. Thanks to The Gazelle Group, we were able to take our teams on the court during the warm-ups of the second game. KING Hoops features kids from all over New York City. Some of our players have never even been down to 32nd street let alone get to be on the court of the Garden. Talk about an experience of a lifetime!
These are the types of opportunities we like to provide our KING Hoops family. Even our parents had the chance to attend and watch some high level basketball with their sons at the most famous arena.
Where sometimes we do like to think that “ball is life” we also understand the importance of growth in all aspects of life. Being able to provide experiences that allow our teams to grow and bond off the court is just as important as to what drills we play on the court. We are building strong teams as well as strong young men in the process and that is the ultimate reward!
