Financial Policy

After-school

There is a non-refundable processing fee of 2.7% for credit card transactions and $0.60 for bank account/e-check transactions.

Program options can be cancelled or changed, with no penalty, up to 7 days before the program start date (1st of the month).

Cancellation or change of program option within 7 days of the program start date will result in a 50% refund.

No refunds will be issued after the program start date.

There are no refunds or discounts for being absent due to sickness, vacation, school closure, inclement weather, other programming, or any other reason including moving, transferring, unexpected circumstances, expulsion from the program, etc.

Picking up after the program end time will result in a $30 late fee per child for every 15 minutes. As we are only permitted in the building until that time, it is extremely important that all participants are picked up by this time.

*In regard to COVID-19: Refunds can not be provided due to program planning costs which allow us to run a safe and enriching program for all participants.

Enrichment

Modifications and Cancellations

  1. Within the first two full weeks of Enrichment classes, if you are not 100% satisfied with your class purchase, you may transfer your child into another class. Fees may apply due to varied class costs.
  2. No refunds will be given after the second full week of Enrichment classes.
  3. There are no refunds or discounts for being absent due to sickness, vacation, inclement weather, other programming, or any other reason including moving, transferring, unexpected circumstances, expulsion from the program, etc.
  4. Special circumstances may allow for credits to be used for the following school semester.
  5. KING+ add ons will not be refunded after purchase.

Discounts

  1. Sibling discounts will be applied to additional children after the first, if registered for the same activity. The difference in price will be refunded after the first two weeks of the semester and will be issued to the original payment method on file.
  2. Pro-rate options can be made available if interested in registering after the midpoint of the semester, pending space availability.

Payment Processing

  1. Full payment will be required at the start of the semester to reserve a spot in a class.
  2. KING+ can be purchased for a future date, at least 2 days in advance.

  4. There are no refunds or discounts for being absent due to sickness, vacation, unexpected travel, inclement weather, other programming, or any other reason including but not limited to moving, unexpected circumstances, expulsion from the program, etc.
  5. Picking up after the program end time will result in a $30 late fee per child for every 15 minutes. As we are only permitted in the space until that time, it is extremely important that all participants are picked up by this time.
  6. Any refunds will be processed 30 days from the date of confirmation from Kids in the Game.

Class cancelled by Kids in the Game:

  1. 1 Class Canceled – No Refund
  2. 2 or More Classes – Credit towards the upcoming season

Payment Processing

  1. If services are not paid for in full up-front, the outstanding balance will be scheduled as an automatic payment to be submitted before the midway point of the season.
  2. If your program offers a payment plan with 2 or more dates, the automatic payment dates will be displayed during the registration process.

Program

  1. There are no refunds in the case of an injury.
  2. For injuries that occur during a Kids in the Game program, you may receive partial credit for a future season as determined by Kids in the Game.
  3. For injuries that occur outside of a Kids in the Game program, no credit will be given.
  4. For participants of our more competitive programs (ie. Teams), playing time is not guaranteed and may vary. No credits or refunds will be given due to disagreements around playing time expectations.
  5. Unused trials or drop-ins will not be refunded or credited for use toward a future season.

COVID-19

If Kids in the Game is unable to run the program due to COVID-19, registrants will be given the option between a credit towards a future sports session or a full refund which will be provided within 180 days of the program start date.

  1. If quarantine is required by Kids in the Game due to COVID-19 exposure, participants will receive an option of a full credit or refund.
  2. For any other quarantine circumstances due to exposure outside of Kids in the Game, credit will be offered for the following sports season. Under no circumstances will a refund be given for self-quarantine.
